Redesign

by on Mar.27, 2010, under Blog

I felt it was time to redesign my Web site – not just in look, but also in structure. I wanted content to be easier to edit – therefore making it easier for me to want to write content. This is my new look. Along with this change, there will be others. I’m going to start writing more about everything in life. ‘Blog’ will be dedicated to random personal posts, where the other navigational elements will all relate to their category. I’m going to use this space to clearly convey the topical expanse my thoughts cover in a day. I have always bogged myself down with the fear of needing to write posts perfectly – not anymore. This will be a stream of my understanding of the world. Look for more to come.

“I had the good fortune to work with Rachele Cermak on the new marketing plan and interactive strategy for www.e-fortunecookie.com. Rachele added value to every step of the process, and her passion for the Internet and online marketing was evident at every turn. In fact, the RFP she wrote for the new website was so well crafted that it drew praise from web developers who generally dislike receiving these documents. Rachele is enterprising, analytical, hard working, creative and an excellent team player. She is a true professional!”

I am happy to recommend Rachele Cermak for employment at your organization.

I had the pleasure of working with and supervising Rachele at the National MS Society, Minnesota Chapter in Minneapolis where she was a Web marketing intern. Rachele was organized, efficient and willing to do whatever was needed to get a project finished. Because there were often last-minute deadlines, her cooperative attitude and enthusiasm were important and appreciated.

Rachele took a major role in several marketing projects including awareness activities during our largest public awareness campaign, MS Awareness Week. As a flexible team-player, she was instrumental in creating a micro-donation campaign video, creating and managing assets for Web and e-mail marketing tactics and providing creative insights in solving general marketing problems.

Rachele deserves serious consideration as a potential employee, and I recommend her highly. If you would like to speak with me directly about the quality of Rachele’s work and character, feel free to contact me at {contact info available upon request}

Sincerely,
Jonathan Wittman

MS Society

MS Society – MS Awareness Week’s: Move Lives, Give Five campaign

Motivated by the success of the Untied Way’s “Give5Now” campaign, the VP of Marketing wanted to create a micro-donation video to be released during MSAW that stressed the importance a $5 donation would make. With staff already overworked, I stepped up to the plate. I was given a contact list of supporters, some nationally branded video and a camcorder. I made some phone calls and was on my way to conduct the interviews. After I recorded the interviews, I edited in some video and typography from the National Chapter and launched the “Move Five, Give Lives” donation video. I received the “Bright Award” from the MS Society for my ability to effective implement their marketing strategy.
